A note on safety
Anything involving gas, sealed refrigerant, major electrical panels, or in-wall plumbing goes straight to “call a pro.” Every DIY answer leads with the shut-off / unplug steps. We'll tell you to call a pro when it's a pro job — no upsell. It's a triage opinion to help you decide; when in doubt about safety, call a professional.
